Privacy policy
A short, honest summary of how this site handles personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
The data controller for this site is Anna Nicolaou, Avenue de Montalembert 40, 1330 Rixensart, Belgium. Contact: contact@annanicolaounutrition.eu. VAT number BE 0817 788 489.
What data is collected
This is a simple landing page. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. When you visit, the site’s hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs, your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the response status, and the timestamp. These logs are kept for security and operational diagnostics.
If you email contact@annanicolaounutrition.eu or book a call/apply via the external Cal.com link, that information is held by the respective service providers (your email provider, Cal.com Inc.) and is used solely to respond to your enquiry or arrange your appointment.
Why and on what legal basis
Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), running and securing the website. Email and call data are processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) or to perform a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b)) when you become a client.
Who sees the data
Server logs are accessible only to Vercel as our hosting provider, and to Anna Nicolaou when reviewing them. Emails you send are accessible only to Anna Nicolaou and to your own email provider. Cal.com bookings are accessible to Anna Nicolaou and to Cal.com Inc. No data is sold to anyone, ever.
International transfers
Vercel, GitHub, and Cal.com are US-based providers. They process EU personal data under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses, which the European Commission has determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
How long it’s kept
Server logs are typically retained for 30 days by Vercel. Client correspondence is kept for the duration of the engagement plus the legally required period for tax and professional record-keeping (currently 7 years in Belgium for business correspondence and 10 years for accounting documents).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to ask for its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@annanicolaounutrition.eu. We respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Autorité de protection des données, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Bruxelles — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
